Overview

Following the successful 1st International Symposium on SiAlONs in 2001 and 2nd International Symposium on SiAlONs and Non-Oxides in 2007, The 3rd International Symposium on SiAlONs and Non-oxides will be held on Cappadocia, Turkey on between of 1st-4th of June, 2010. The previous two symposiums were organized at Japan and the symposium will be held out of Japan for the first time.



The aim of this symposium is providing a broader forum to present the recent developments in research and applications of SiAlON and non-oxide ceramics. The meeting will include 36 invited presentations as well as contributed papers and posters.
